Fit & compatibility
Does Easy Grab fit all cars?
Yes. It fits any vehicle with a standard 3-point lap-sash seat belt — cars, SUVs, utes, pickups, vans, trucks, buses, motorhomes and campervans, in both left- and right-hand drive.
Does it work on rear seats?
Yes, on outboard rear seats with a normal 3-point belt. It is not designed for centre lap-only belts or child restraint harnesses.
Will it fit a wide or thick seat belt?
The leather strap wraps the webbing, so it accommodates the full range of standard seat belt widths used by vehicle manufacturers.
Can I move it to another car?
Yes. Undo one screw, refit to the new belt and retighten — about a minute.
Safety
Does Easy Grab affect seat belt safety?
No. It clamps to the belt webbing above the buckle tongue. It does not extend the belt, does not sit inside the buckle, and does not interfere with the retractor, inertia reel or pre-tensioner. The belt performs exactly as designed.
Is this the same as a seat belt buckle extender?
No — and that is an important difference. Buckle extenders add length between the tongue and the buckle. Easy Grab adds a reach handle only, so belt geometry is unchanged.
Will it damage the belt webbing?
No. The leather strap spreads pressure across the webbing without piercing or cutting it.

Does it help people with a disability?
Yes. It is widely used by people with limited upper-body movement, wheelchair users, and people recovering from shoulder, back or abdominal surgery, as well as their carers.
